This high quality, British made Mortice Clawbolt Lock is designed for use on straight sliding (pocket doors etc) or bi-folding doors that butt up to the jamb or an opposing door edge when closed. The expanding clawbolt engages into the strikeplate to prevent lateral movement of the door away from the frame. Use with any of our Euro Profile Lock Cylinders on medium security internal doors or on external doors where a higher security lock is not required. An excellent choice for both quality residential applications and heavy commercial use. CE/UKCE certified and fully compliant for use on FD30/FD60 fire rated timber door sets when used with appropriate intumescent material. Manufactured in Britain by Guardian Lock & Engineering.

This mortice clawbolt lock is suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors in high-use settings. For full compliance on fire doors, this product MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent material on both door and frame.

To keep this mortice lock in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
