This premium quality British made Euro DIN Style Cylinder Mortice Nightlatch Case (slam lock) can be fitted as an alternative to more common surface mounted "Yale" type locks to provide automatic locking on entrance doors, or in conjunction with a mortice panic latch actuator on emergency exit doors. The sprung latchbolt can be operated in the following ways:
- External Key/Internal Handle - using a single cylinder (barrel) and half set lever handle (or panic device).
- External Key/Internal Thumbturn - using a cylinder with integral thumbturn.
- External Key/Internal Key - using a double cylinder.
The lock features an anti-thrust bolt to prevent manipulation of the latch bolt by credit card etc. The latchbolt is easily reversible on site to suit left or right hand hung doors. A good choice for both residential properties and heavy use commercial applications
