This premium quality, heavy duty mortice privacy lock provides simple keyless locking where accessible bathroom or toilet doors need to conform to the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. When fitted with appropriate handle sets, the lock will function as follows:
Latchbolt operated by external lever handle;
Deadbolt thrown by upward movement of internal lever handle;
Deadbolt and latchbolt withdrawn by downward movement of internal lever handle.
IMPORTANT: This lock is designed to be used with specialist "Lift to Lock" lever handle furniture sets. Please contact us if you require additional information.

This mortice privacy lock is suitable for FD30/FD60 rated doors in high-use settings. For full compliance on fire doors, this product MUST be fitted with appropriate intumescent material on both door and frame.
This lock is NOT recommended for use with door knobs or ring handle furniture.

To keep this mortice privacy lock in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
