Antique Black

Made in Britain 25 Year Guarantee Residential Use

A classic, light pattern black iron Tee Hinge design suitable for light weight cabinet and cupboard doors. 203mm overall, frame plate 93mm x 22mm. Manufactured in Britain using traditional casting techniques and finished in Antique Black for a truly authentic look and feel.

This product is expertly and lovingly crafted by Kirkpatrick Ltd of Willenhall using high quality materials. It should not be confused with the poor quality imitations available from other suppliers.

Tee hinges are designed to be fitted to the opening face of doors with both the horizontal strap and vertical frame plate being visible when the door is in the closed position. As a rule of thumb, light to medium weight doors (soft wood, pine) will require hinges approx one third to half the door width. For heavier doors (eg solid oak) select a hinge one half to two thirds the door width. For doors over 84" (2100mm) high we recommend a third hinge fitted centrally.

Antique Black is a hard wearing, durable paint finish suitable for both internal and external applications in normal conditions. However, we DO NOT recommend this product for coastal areas or other harsh environments.

Lubricate immediately after fitting and periodically thereafter - at least twice yearly. Clean with an oil impregnated cloth to remove harmful deposits, especially when fitted externally

One pair of hinges as described complete with traditional slotted roundhead woodscrews in matching finish.
