Residential Use Commercial Use Industrial Use

Forming part of our Euro+ Modular range this British made Mortice Escape Sashlock case can be used with any of our Euro Profile Cylinder Lock Barrels to provide a range of locking functions and is an ideal choice for both high quality, prestigious residential properties and heavy use commercial applications. The split-follower Anti-Panic function allows single action easy exit in the event of an emergency and is an ideal solution for apartment entrance doors. Particularly suitable for heavy, un-sprung lever handle furniture due to the strong follower springing. Fully reversible to suit left or right hand hung doors and approved for use on fire rated timber door sets in accordance with current regulations.

This lock is supplied handed according to both the hinge handing and the direction of escape. Care should be taken to select the correct handing when ordering - please refer to the relevant image above.

Lever handle furniture for this lock must be fitted with a suitable spindle to accomodate the split-follower function - please see the appropriate product in the Related Items section below.

To avoid fixing screws fouling the lock body use handles with horizontally opposed bolt-through fixings or with backplates where fixings positions are adequately spaced. NOT recommended for use with door knobs.

Detailed advice on the selection of mortice locks and latches can be found in our [Mortice Locks & Latches Specification Guide].

Conversion sets to allow fitting of this lock to double doors with rebated meeting stiles are available to special order - please contact us for details and prices.

For best results and long life, this lock should be lubricated with a light machine oil at least once a year.
