A decorative Half Butterfly Hinge with only one full 'wing' for easier mounting on narrow frame sections. An ideal finishing touch for light weight kitchen cabinet doors and hand made, bespoke furniture. Forming part of our "Rustix" range this hinge is expertly hand crafted using hammer and anvil and finished in Rustix Armour Bright to highlight each hammer blow.

Butterfly hinges are designed to be fitted to the opening face of doors with both 'wings' being visible when the door is in the closed position.
Due to the hand forged nature of this product all published dimensions are approximate only.
To keep these hinges in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1). Rustix Armour Bright is a low maintenance finish suitable for internal applications and for external use in normal conditions. Products fitted externally should be regularly wiped over with an oily rag to aid protection against environmental elements. We DO NOT recommend this finish for coastal areas or other harsh environments.
