A Round Rim Cylinder Lock Barrel suitable for use with most "Yale" type UK rim nightlatch cases. The cylinder features a High Security pin tumbler mechanism with 6 main top pins, 4 special side pins and hardened steel inserts providing anti-drill, anti-pick and anti-bump characteristics. The Restricted key profile offers higher security against unauthorised key duplication - cut keys and key blanks are only available through authorised stockists. This cylinder lock barrel is certified to the highest grades of BS EN1303 for durability and key security as standard. This version is supplied "Keyed to Differ" - please refer to the information under the "Keying" tab.
For best results and long life, this cylinder lock barrel should be lubricated with a specialist lock spray or good quality graphite powder. Do NOT use oils or WD40.
This cylinder lock barrel is supplied "Keyed to Differ" whereby each cylinder is operated by it's own individual keys (3 supplied).

Successfully type tested for conformity to all of the requirements of BS EN 1303:2005 including the additional requirements for fire/smoke door use - certificates are available on request
Fire rating is only applicable to this product when fitted to timber based door assemblies of proven fire resistance as defined in BS EN1634-1 or BS476 Part 22:1987 and when used with suitably rated locks.
