Rising butt hinges are designed to lift doors slightly during the opening cycle to prevent the bottom of the door damaging floor coverings/carpets. This premium quality solid brass version features heavy duty bronze skews and brass pin for increased weight carrying, long life and high resistance to corrosion and will raise the door by 13mm at 180°. Manufactured in Britain by Simonswerk UK.
Available in a range of specialist finishes to compliment both traditional and contemporary styles. Choose from Polished or Satin Brass Unlacquered, Antique Brass Unlacquered, Imperial Bronze Unlacquered (Dark BMA), Satin Nickel or Polished Nickel.
Rising butt hinges are handed Left or Right and care should be taken to select the correct hand when ordering - please refer to the technical handing image above.
These hinges are supplied dry and require lubrication immediately after fitting and periodically thereafter. If specified correctly and properly maintained they will provide many years of consistent, trouble free service.
