Dark Antique Solid Bronze (DAB)Solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The metal is aged naturally to produce a very dark and rich appearance and then protected by an application of a durable matt lacquer to preserve it's distinctive tones. Items in this finish may be used externally in normal settings if regularly cleaned and maintained. NOT recommended for use in coastal areas or other harsh environments. Clean regularly with a mild soapy solution to remove dirt, grime and acidic residues and apply a light application of a good quality beeswax polish. Where items are not available in this finish we recommend using products in Dark Matt Bronze or Imperial Bronze Unlacquered, both of which offer a good match.  |
