This version is designed to allow opening of doors to 180° past frame architraves or wall claddings up to 15.5mm thick.

These hinges are suitable for doors with a maximum adjusted weight of 55kg with 2 hinges fitted or 70kg with three hinges fitted based on a 2100mm x 850mm door leaf. A third or fourth hinge is recommended for external doors and doors fitted with overhead door closers.

For best results on timber doors, these hinges should be fitted using the appropriate Routing Template and Universal Milling Frame detailed in the 'Related Items' below.
These concealed hinges are virtually maintenance free and require little attention. However, it is advisable to lubricate the hinges every two years with a dry PTFE spray especially in higher use applications. The action of doors should be checked occassionaly and hinges adjusted if neccessary. Hinges can be wiped clean of dirt and grime with an oil impregnated cloth.
