This adjustable Centre Strike and Keep Set can be used with our Winkhaus Thunderbolt Twin-Deadbolt or Cobra Hookbolt multi-point locks on single door applications. This version has a 22mm centre line and is generally considered suitable for door thicknesses of 40mm to 48mm.
Both the Centre Strike and Pocket Keeps have +/-4mm adjustment to allow for door movement etc.
The set comprises of 1 x Centre Strike (for the main lock unit) and 2 x Pocket Keeps (for the additional top/bottom bolts).
Handing: These sets are handed to suit Left Hand or Right Hand hung doors. Please refer to the technical drawing image and select from the drop down list when ordering.
Important: This Winkhaus Centre strike and Keep set is finished with a corrosion resistant electroplating. However, care should be taken when fitting to highly acidic woods such as oak and accoya or in extreme coastal locations. Contact between the product parts and bare timber should be avoided. Where possible, timber should be painted or varnished prior to fitting to provide a seal. For best results we recommend the use of our 3 Part Corrosion Protection Kit.
To keep this product in optimum working condition we recommend a once yearly application of light machine oil (3 in 1) to the adjustment points. Wipe clean with an oil impregnated cloth.
